leigh town council skatepark & Brave Arts
new graffiti gallery essex leigh on sea legal wall
launched the Leigh street art wall last weekend. With the help of zarjaz, @hiltgraffiti and the legend @ster.upc3 local graffiti artists with roots in the foundations of the local sceneBig thanks to the leigh town council for supporting the building of this wall and the return of spraycan art to leigh skatepark. Forward thinking councils that accommodate spaces for the practice of urban disciplines are excellent leaders. We used to paint the leigh skatepark when it was wooden 20rs ago @buskone_ @ethospws @mute1oneIt helped keep us out of trouble and gave us somewhere to practice our art safely and legally. We christened the new extention to the Skate park on Sunday and intend on renewing the art work regularly so when you're passing come n have a look...When the Skate Park was refurbished last year, Leigh Town Council decided to re-instate a street art wall, to give creatives an outlet. The Town Council hope that this will be a fantastic ever-changing community art project for young people in Leigh and will also help to boost tourism.@Systemwise
