Open murals

An open mural  is one large piece painted by  'a group'.  Open murals can be a lot of fun & involve lots of people.  This approach to workshops works with drop-ins, live painting events, & team building activities.

The open mural offers a 'group work' alternative to students painting their own individual canvas.

The open mural method is also the approach we take when creating large permanent pieces with groups.

Working with smaller group sizes allows us to provide support & ensure the quality & standard of the work remains appropriate.

Think of it as a big paint-by-numbers with spraypaint guided by pro spray-can-artists.

Suitable for key stage 2 students and above.
