I was thrilled to be asked by Onesouthend/the Southend youth council if I could take part in their black history month event.

'Celebrating black lives'.

For my part I made some street art! Of course!

Footballer and powerful social justice activist. Someone whos enormous wealth hasn't removed his ability to empathize with issues like child food poverty, and actively push for change. Big up mr Rashford. ❤👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Tuesdays 1000mph live performance in the high street Southend was an opportunity to point out what this great man has already achieved and how his plans to negotiate free school meals for children was rejected this week by our current government. 🤔

It was also a chance for me to again remind the gate keepers that I have plans to lead a team in a coordinated approach to street art throughout the town. I believe this form of art has the potential to benefit the town greatly. And I've been painting teaching and campaigning for wider acceptance of public art murals for years.

Stay tuned as I may need 'your support' to realise this in the near future.

We made a film of the mural painting process which will be available to watch from tomorrow through the onesouthend website. Look out for the link 😄
