Meeting James Prigoff, the photographer from the notorious book Spraycan Art book 1987. The book was a huge influence on the lives of many graffiti artists of my generation.

It was great to meet him, I took him to one of the spots that gets painted a lot near where I’m from. He took loads of pictures.

Thanks to the Legendary Steam from www.aerosolplanet.com for the hook up.

Brave Arts at the V&A.
If you were at the V&A museum, Kensington London, earlier this year, you might have seen the Image & Identity exhibitions. Working with artists and designers the the V&A developed projects and worked with groups of visiting youngsters from all over the U.K.

Some were lucky enough to work with us. Myself Reakt , Sonia, Mark (prime), Joe and big Ed. We explored the history, culture and themes that surround graffiti-art and drawing your name. I got to meet David Lammy The minister for Arts and Culture and have a chat about graffiti. It was a good project and we got to put some of our work up in the V&A which was a touch!

Graphotism Sleeping Giants paint jam
In July The Graphotism Sleeping Giants paint jam happened, It was such a good weekend, Surely one of the best Ive ever had in Brighton, the painting went up alright too!

We to paint back to back with The montana Writers Team...Can2 Atom Kent and Smash. It was an emotional couple of days. Well done to the organisers, it was great, Big thanks to Paul, Julio, Sarah, Sally and tha crew.

The plan is that Graphotism are going to compile a book from all the artwork people painted at that jam, and sell it to pay for next years jam.

Some really really amazing stuff got painted and the uk represented inter and outernationally!

So if you’ve got some money buy the book so I don't have to sleep ruff next time.

I think Graphotism issue 44 should have some pictures from the event, so look out for that.
