PICTURE 11

This painting was part of a commission I did with help from reakt, Ikie and crew, At the time Reakt was doing a lot of experiments using colour emulsion and painting it wet with white. I have only done a few 3d pieces; this one is all about the background its emulsion effects worked in to with spray paints. I liked the letters but couldn’t get them all in the photograph, its taken through a window. Painted in Southend, 2001.
PICTURE 12

I painted this piece on the Day when every body marched against the war in iraq 2003, its at a hall of fame I paint at regularly but i had never painted this wall before as it faced a large car park. I got abuse from people whilst I was painting it. I was well pleased with the letters, I clearly wrote the words NO MORE WAR! and it had blood dripping from the letters. When it was finished the piece said. “We don’t need no more troubles, No More War!” Which is Bob Marley Lyrics. This is as political as I have ever got in my paintings and it felt heavy! I used black and Yellow because natures does as a warning sign. Painted on 02/03/03 - UK
PICTURE 13

I really like looking at pieces that are painted like they are 3d. This is one of my attempts at a piece without an outline. I like it, but it took me ages. - Painted UK. 2003
PICTURE 14

This painting was part of a commission I did with help from reakt, Ikie and crew, I really like this solution to the letters in my Tagg and i build pieces from this outline all the time - Painted Southend, 2001.
PICTURE 15

This piece was painted at a time when I was not rocking many pieces with nice letters, I was a character man. I wanted to blend the two and make the characters in to the letters. Painted in Chelmsford - UK, 1999.
PICTURE 16

I like using black and white paint and doing weird overlaps with the outline and stuff. I really can’t think in colours, some painters do I know, but i think I am more about line and shape than the colour. Painted in London, 2002
PICTURE 17

I write “Brave” and every now and again I do a piece that’s got eggs in it, and there is a reason for this. It’s got a lot to do with yin and yan opposites like black and white, or Brave and chicken. Painted in Chelmsford - UK, 1999.
PICTURE 18

It’s all about the letters really. This piece was painted for Kev and Anthony for doing the websites. Painted at Leigh-on-sea - UK, 2002.

The Stickers. Inspired mainly by Giant. Keeping it simple. Small hits with these in the right places can last years.
